The story behind the print…….
L’ubomir Moravcik arrived at Celtic in November 1998 for the modest fee of £300,000. He was quickly denounced by the silly elements of the Scottish press & media despite being Czechoslovakia/Slovakia most capped player. Brought to the club by fellow Slovak Dr Joe Venglos, Lubo’s talents at the age of 33 were in the their prime.
Celtic’s 5-1 victory of Rangers on November saw Lubo’s first two goals in the Hoops. He stayed for 4 seasons and as the shirt says “Arrived a player-departed a legend”.
